Review: Anker® 2nd Gen Astro 6000mAh

The Anker Astro 6000mAh Portable Back Up Battery Review

The Astro is wonderful little, pocketable back up battery, its perfect for traveling as it’s small and charges your device 2/3 times fully! I’ve had mine for around 2 weeks and its charged my phone (iPhone 4s) from 1% to full 2 times and the Astro still has a 1/4 of a battery remaining.

Mac Mini 2012 (Review)

Mac Mini 2012 Review!

My Mac Mini 2012 Spec:mac mini 2012 04-580-90
  • 2.3GHz Intel Core i7
  • 4GB Ram

The Mac Mini 2012 isn’t for everyone, for instance if your a professional that stores lots of data and does high end video production it will not be for you.  The Mac Mini is for people who not really game, do some light video editing and general use.

I use the mac mini 2012 as my main machine at home along with with the Apple Wireless Keyboard And Magic Mouse. The machine is very powerful for the size of it, it’s using Intel’s HD 4000 onboard graphics. I think that the mac mini is a great PC, it works really well with photoshop, and the general game on low graphics!

Why The Mac Mini Is Good?

It’s the perfect size to use as a home theater, on a small desk, with you existing monitor, and the general user, easy to upgrade the RAM

Con’s

Very hard to upgrade the HDD as you have got to strip the Computer down

Should You Buy?

Yes, only if your in the right audience for it, make sure you do your research before buying as it might not be for you.

AMD Eight Core FX-8350 Processor 4.00GHz

The AMD Eight Core FX-8350 Processor is a one of its kind, Made by AMD its a worthy competitor for Intel’s I7 Processor, It is also the first processor based on AMD’s “Piledriver” Design, Piledriver microarchitecture is the second generation of AMD Bulldozer microarchitecture. The internal core structure has been modified for higher frequencies even without any changes in the manufacturing process. Piledriver has a more precise branch predictor and a larger instruction window with ISA extensions FMA3 and F16C. The execution units acquired an enhanced scheduler and learned to process individual instructions faster, such as integer and floating-point division. And Piledriver microarchitecture delivers higher power efficiency compared with Bulldozer microarchitecture.

The AMD FX Processors come equipped with AMD Turbo CORE Technology, a performance boosting technology that helps increase performance on the applications that need it the most.

Having Eight (yes 8) cores makes this processor a master of the multitasking era allowing it to perform extraordinarily well in video editing areas and things that involve allot of processing, it can also win over many other processors in single tasking departments too, Many games wont allow to run of all Eight cores (unless you made it) but even though all eight aren’t in use it can still splash out those high FPS those gamers want to see, with the right graphics card, its a deadly combo for the perfect gamer to be lag free.

AMD has a pretty nice price for their processors, At around £150 over internet sellers like Amazon and ebay for how much it costs you certainly get what’s on the tin that makes it competition for Intel.

Gigabyte GM-M6880 Mouse Review

The Gigabyte GM-M6880 Mouse Review!

Gigabyte GM-M6880 Mouse is one of the best mice that I have ever used, really comfy to the hand, nice to hold, good speed setting for dpi on top of the mouse.

The Mouse is my main mouse when using Windows, I use the Apple Magic Mouse when i’m using OSX, I find that the Gigabyte mouse is really ergonomic, compared to the Magic Mouse,

The Gigabyte mouse is designed for gaming, The Clicking speed is instant, the scroll wheel works really well, the mouse also has to buttons on the side where your thumb would sit for going forwards and

Is Yahoo To Make A Return To Our Lifes?

Yahoo IOS Weather App Review:yahoo_weather_app_new

Yahoo is maybe about to return into our life’s with their new IOS weather app.

In my opinion this is one of the best looking apps I’ve ever seen in any app store on any device.

To get around the app its all swipe based, to get between places you swipe left to right, you swipe down to get more information such as what the weathers going to be like at a certain time, what the weathers going to be for the next 5 days,  and what time the sun raised today and what time it will set.

Stars: 5

Pro’s: It’s Brilliant, works well, perfectly designed, pictures taken by real people, all photos are from Yahoo’s product Flicker,

Cons: Nothing it’s Brilliant!
